This page is dedicated to those who have brought us joy for many years but have passed on.  Max and Flint are still here keeping things in order but have big shoes to fill.

Over the years, we've discovered that our out-of-state customers miss the opportunity to see the animals and where they live.  Take a moment to look around.  You'll see our other farm friends as well as some family members that are no longer with us.

We hope you enjoy your visit!

10 Commandments for a responsible Pet Owner

My life is likely to last 10 to 15 years. Any separation from you will be painful.
Give me time to understand what you want from me.
Place your trust in me, it is crucial to my well being.
Don’t be angry with me for long, and don’t lock me up as punishment. You have your
work and your friends for entertainment . . . I have only you!
Talk to me . . . even if I don’t understand your words. I do understand your voice
       when it’s speaking to me!
Be aware that however you treat me, I’ll never forget.
Before you hit me, remember that I have teeth that could easily crush bones in your
       hand . . . but I choose not to bite . . . because I love you unconditionally.
Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might
be bothering me. Perhaps I’m not getting the right food, or I’ve been out in the sun
too long, or maybe my heart is getting old or weak.
Take care of me when I get old. You too will grow old someday!
Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say, “I can’t bear to watch it” or, “Let it
happen in my absence”. Everything is easier for ME if you are with me.
       Remember I LOVE YOU!!!
